performance or volatility of an asset class are indicative only and not a
forecast of the future. In general, alternative investments involve a high
degree of risk, including the potential loss of the capital invested. These
investments can be highly illiquid, charge higher fees than other investments,
typically do not generate a consistent rate of return, and may decline in value.
These investments are not subject to the same regulatory requirements as other
registered or traditional investment products.
There is no guarantee of future returns, and an investment may result in a
financial loss. Market and exchange rate movements may cause the capital value
of investments, and the income from them, to go down as well as up, and
investors may not get back the amount originally invested. Past performance is
not indicative of future returns. The (performance) scenarios presented for an
alternative investment fund (AIF) or other investment are generally an estimate
of future performance based on past experience of the performance of that
investment and/or current market conditions, and are not an exact indicator. How
much you receive depends on how the market performs and how long you hold the
investment/product. The results and future performance of AIFs are subject to
taxation, which depends on the personal situation of the investor concerned and
which may change in the future. Palladio Partners also assumes no obligation to
update these forward-looking statements. Furthermore, Palladio Partners reserves

Tobias Brosze joins Palladio Kommunal
08.04.2024 - The former Technical Director of Mainzer Stadtwerke AG will take over the management of Palladio Kommunal with immediate effect.
Investment boutique Palladio Partners, which specialises in real asset investments, has a new managing director for its subsidiary Palladio Kommunal GmbH. In July 2023, it was announced that Tobias Brosze would be stepping down from his position as a member of the Management Board of Mainzer Stadtwerke and becoming Managing Partner of Palladio Kommunal. He has now taken up his new position.
‘German municipal infrastructure faces an enormous need for investment’
"The high costs of the climate transition are becoming increasingly clear,’ says Tobias Brosze. "The expansion of district heating, hydrogen and electricity grids, modern climate-friendly power plants, an ever-increasing need for local computing capacity - municipal infrastructure is facing enormous investment requirements. I am convinced that we can only manage these investments together. Politicians, local authorities and private investors must work hand in hand. I am very much looking forward to my new role, which will enable me to make a contribution to this."
Palladio Kommunal acts as a partner to municipal companies in the realisation of important infrastructure projects. It invests the long-term capital of German pension companies. Palladio Kommunal also contributes extensive expertise in the infrastructure sector and in the implementation of complex projects.
Tobias Brosze (44) worked at Mainzer Stadtwerke for twelve years, since 2014 as Technical Director and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. His responsibilities there included the business areas of conventional energy generation and renewable energies, heat generation and distribution, the grid area as well as innovation management, IT and procurement.
“New form of financing municipal infrastructure projects”
“As a long-standing municipal utility board member, Tobias Brosze knows what is important to municipalities when it comes to cooperation and is familiar with their challenges,’ says Michael Rieder, founder and Managing Director of Palladio Partners: ‘In recent years, our 15-strong team for investments in German infrastructure projects has developed a new form of financing for municipal infrastructure projects in which the municipality remains in control and we provide financial support and expertise. This collaboration on an equal footing has met with great interest and we look forward to expanding it further with Tobias Brosze.”
